December 21st, 2014

Hey dudsons,

Today is Sunday, but that doesn't matter to me, because everyday is the weekend now....well, until the winter break is over.  The sun has come back out again, woohoo.  Even though I may not spend a lot of time outdoors, it still feels good on a sunny day, indoors of course.  In the afternoon, it was cloudy, but it's still better than rainy or perhaps even snowy weather.

Since it is the holidays, my family and I were invited to a Christmas get-together at my mom's friends' house in Port Moody.  Port Moody is such a far place to drive to; it's like an hour drive to get up there.  We picked up our grandparents too to go to this little party, since they live in Coquitlam, not so far from Port Moody.  Actually, I have gotten used to these long drives, since I have to visit my grandparents every one to two weeks.  This family has children my brother and I's age, so that's good.  They have this really cute baby too, and when we came, he just peeped his head out the wall, and it was adorable.

For some reason, the drive back seems always faster than the trip to the place.  Maybe there's more highways, or it's because I'm tired and I don't think about the time as much.

I still have a cough, so that's inconvenient.  I keep on coughing and hacking in the night time, and that's interrupting my other family members and their sleep.  It's also waking me up every single time I cough.   Luckily, I slept in this morning, so that saves some sleep time that I missed on hacking and coughing.

I found this great Youtube channel called Convos with My Two-Year-Old.  This channel is focused on a man and his daughter.  He takes actual conversations with his now four-year old daughter, and re-enacts it with himself and another full grown man.  It's kind of funny, but I doubt his daughter actually says all those things.

Here's a video from their channel:
