Hey dudsons,
I didn't do the blog for yesterday due to homework and what not. So I apologize!
Yesterday was a collab day, and in case you didn't know that means we go to school at 10:15. So, that gives people some extra time to sleep in and watch TV, but I woke up at 8:30, because I wanted to study for the English test that took place later in the day. So, I was tired, and for some reason, even more tired than when I usually wake up at 7:30.
So, the first and second blocks were really short. For applied skills, we finished watching the movie Life of Pi. It's an incredible movie, that I have watched before, but I can never get bored of it. It's so good. We have to knit while we watch though, but I'm okay with that. Speaking of knitting, I am a little behind on knitting, so I am worried that I may not do it in time.
Second block was math. As always, I am excited to go to math, because my teacher's awesome. We learned percents, and it was pretty easy and plus, my math teacher taught us some short cuts. One reason I also love this teacher is because we don't use workbooks, which means that we don't have homework. Also, we don't use the textbook so it's easier not to carry around a huge load of heftiness like other people.
I went to the orthodontics to get braces today. I wasn't that scared, and the whole procedure was practically painless. I am not lying. I didn't even know that I had braces on when they pretty much finished, as I was waiting for something really painful to happen. The people there said my teeth would hurt by dinnertime, but it didn't hurt that much, only a little throbbing.
I went to Sabrina's house with Amy to work on a project for English. It's always so funny to enter someone else's house, because it can be so different from your house. So we worked on our little radio advertisement, but we goofed off a lot. We were taking random photos and videos of each other and some were very... weird and disgusting. Amy had dinner at Sabrina's house, but I couldn't eat because I had braces. Anyways, I already had dinner prior to arriving at Sabrina's house, but the butter chicken smelled so good, I was tempted to lick it when nobody was looking (exaggeration)
Anyways, brushing and flossing with braces is somewhat difficult. Usually I can finish brushing my teeth in about 2 minutes, but it seemed like ten minutes had passed with braces. It's such a pain in the butt. I also have to brush at school too, and that's an inconvenience.
