Hey dudsons,
Today was just an ordinary day, but for some reason I'm in a grumpy and cranky mood. I'm suspecting it's because my brother was annoying me while I tried to finish up on some hard homework. I hate it when people disturb me when I'm doing things, whether it be homework, playing a game, etc. Well if you talk to me, it's okay, but if you annoy me, I'll yell at you.
We had a short story test on The Decision and some parts of it was tricky. Some of the words we didn't learn, and I'm pretty sure I messed up on one of the true or false questions.
Tomorrow in the afternoon, we're going on another field trip! We're going to see a opera called Stickboy at the Queen Elizabeth Theater in downtown. It sounds like a really interesting story about bullying. There's going to be a lot of animation and singing too. One thing I dread tomorrow: the bus. I have a constant fear of getting lost and not being there on time and that happens every time. Well it happens every time when I'm NOT with my mom and dad. You always get a sense of security when they're around. Another reason why I'm worried is because I'm not too familiar with downtown due to the fact that every time I go there, my dad drives and I don't really notice which way we're going. Also, I don't live near there too. Anyways, I hope the opera is good...
I'm really glad that for applied skills, Mr. Olson pushed the due date back, so we have more time to organize everything. We still need to do one more experiment at school, sometime next week. For today's class we kind of goofed off a bit, but we still planned some things out.
Last blog, I said that the community center invited me to go to the National Women's soccer game tonight. Guess what? I didn't go. My mom said that I had homework and the weather was bad. It's not much of a big deal, but a tiny, tiny part of me still wants to go. Amy said that she got free yummy food, jersey, and scarf. Canada was against Japan, but Canada lost. :( To be honest, I don't really like soccer as a sport; it's not that interesting like hockey, but even then I think hockey is boring. No offense to soccer people!
So I was digging in my wallet for some reason, and I found a special coin. It's the two dollar 2014 Wait for Me Daddy coin that was being traded at Oakridge centre. I already have the "case" for it that I got from the mall, since they were handing it out. Now let's just wait for this coin to sart getting valuable....heehee...
