Greeting dudsons,
So today I went to Chinese class and we had that test I was dreading. At least I got over it and there's still that big test coming up in two weeks. More studying for me... "yay".....
So I was reading Sab's blog and she was talking about a old lady called Ms. Brown. I know her because in my old school, there's this teacher named Mr. Fisher and that's his mother. She sometimes comes in for PE too. I think she's a really sweet and nice lady. It's amazing how young she looks even she's at the impressive age of 90.
I finally got a hold for this book a need for science. As I previously mentioned, it is called Unbroken: a World War 2 Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. I was in twelfth place for holds the week before last week. I think it will be a good book to read since so many people want it. I just need to find some time to pick it up at the library...
I was just thinking about how many new apartment buildings are planned for the Cambie corridor. Since there's going to be a lot of buildings, where will the city find enough people to move in? It's not like Vancouver will have a sudden ten thousand rise of population. I like that the city will have a more modern and big-city feel, but there's going to be tons of traffic and people. I want that peaceful neighborhood to stay.
I just discovered another addicting app. (creds to my brother) It's called Quiz Up and it's a test for a lot of different topics. There's math, music, and even Taylor Swift. They have a whopping amount of 626 topics to choose from. Another reason why I am addicted to this app. I am not shy to mention that keep failing at Taylor Swift, even though she's my favourite singer. Oh well! It's just a game! On the contrary, I am acing in the easy math topic. After all, it does have the word 'easy' in the name. I hope it doesn't affect me and my schoolwork, though it probably will.
I also found a story told in the format of cheques. There is no story behind it; you are the one that is suppose to interpret it yourself. There are a lot of interpretations of it online and I find the story to be quite interesting. It's called 'Ordeal of Cheques'.
