Hey dudsons,
Today I was almost late to school, but I still made it to science class. :)
For science, we watched another video about the nasty water system and cycle we have on Earth. Watching these kinds of things makes me sad, because it reminds me of the bad shape Earth is in right now and makes me feel useless because I can't change that much about it. In the video it said that humans throw all their wastewater into the ocean, thus killing a lot of wildlife. I never knew that humans actually did that, I just thought somehow they clean the water and then it goes straight back to us.
PE was the "highlight of my day". Guess why? I did the Langara run today and it was as exhausting as poop. I have never been this pooped in my entire life and I am not kidding. I got 16:25 which is considered good okay compared to some my friends that got 19-20 minutes, but compared to my other friends (Amy and Sab) they got so much better than me. At least I was the third girl to finish. Anyways I felt a little dizzy after I ran and the worst part is that I forgot my water bottle. So I was tired AND thirsty.
For French, we got back our tests and I got a perfect 16/16 again....yay! We also did our oral dialogues with my partner in front of the whole class. I must admit I was kind of nervous, but it was actually okay. Luckily, we did not make a huge mistake, even though we had to memorize our conversation. My teacher also gave us a new project on the Eiffel Tower that we have to present in the form of a postcard. I think the research part will be easy enough, but the drawing part will be hard. I'm okay at drawing, but it's an okay subject.
For socials, we worked on our world maps and I find it hard to write tiny to fit in with the small sizes of the countries. So that's basically what we did the whole class.
After school, I went to volunteer at the junior youth council at the community centre. We basically just plan fundraising events and volunteer, in return we earn a "prize". Last year we went out to eat at a Japanese buffet and it was pretty good. I'm hoping that we either go to laser tag or go to another buffet again this year.
I talked about this app called QuizUp and for 'Name the baby animal category' I got 6th place in Canada and 50th place in the whole world. It's a result of my addictiveness.
