October 19th, 2014

Hi dudsons,

Today I am typing on my iPad instead of the laptop. My brother decided to use my computer because he had a virus of some sort in his computer.  And that's the reason why I am typing on the iPad.
So today I went to my weekly swimming lesson at the local Y.  We swam only 5 laps today!  It's probably because we had a substitute teacher, but I had this sub once for my real teacher and she was really nice and fun.  We also did some first-aid stuff about epi pens and anaphylaxisq.  (Severe allergic reaction)
Food review time!!  (This is for my teacher, so you can skip it if you want)  After swimming we went out to eat with my aunt and cousin at this restaurant called 'Silver Tower Cafe Restaurant' in Richmond.  I give a thumbs up for this place.  I ordered the asian version of spaghetti bolognese and I liked it.  The portions very big and even though it is on the pricier side ($10.50) it is worth it.  It was so big that I only ate half of it.  It also includes a drink ( I chose iced lemon tea, which was also good) and a soup of your choice.  I chose the cream soup, but there was also  minestrone and Chinese soup of the day.  If you want to try it out , the address is 8500 Alexandra Rd, Richmond, BC V6X 1C3.  The chicken there is also very good.
After, we went to that new supermarket that I talked about in one of my previous blogs.  It is called T&T and it is near the Richmond Oval.  Today  I went there and I saw this really cute cake that was a 'ramen bowl'.  It was so cute.  I'll be making a mental note to my self that I should buy one for my birthday.  As I passed the fish tank, I noticed that there were these strange looking fish that were flat but their heads seem to be sideways. I think I ate them before, and they were called turbot fish or something like that.
I finally got that book I needed for my science class. Once again, it is called Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption.  I think it's a ok book, but like all books that involve war, I worry that it might be a little drab and boring.  It's not my cup of tea, but whatever.  I'll go out of my comfort zone just this one time.
I feel sad right now.  I just remembered that I have school tomorrow and I don't want to wake up tomorrow at seven o'clock in the morning.  The sun's probably not even going to be out yet. IMF the sun is not up, then why I have to be up.  Worst of all, I have PE tomorrow and a French test.  Fingers crossed....UGH....
