Welcome dudsons,
Happy Thursday! I have established that every Thursday, I will post a fun fact about that particular day. So today's fun fact.... On this same day in 1996, 84 people were killed and more than 180 injured, due to the fact that 47,000 football fans attempted to squeeze into a 36,000-seat arena in Guatemala City. Wow, talk about crazy! If I saw how cramped it was, I'd probably go away instead of risking my life just to watch one football game. Sad, sad, sad....
So for science today, Ms. Smedley wasn't here because she went on an IB camping field trip. Lucky, I wish that I could go too. Last year, because of the teacher strike, I didn't have a chance to go, so yeah... Anyways, we watched a 'Bill Nye the Science Guy' video clip today about pseudoscience. I like how he always make science sound fun and interesting, even though it may be boring as watching paint dry.
For second period, I had PE. We had a earthquake drill today and it really surprised me. Teachers in elementary school take these things so seriously, and in high school it's like no big deal. We were just sitting on the ground during the first 30 seconds of the drill and then he (my teacher) told us to sit beside the wall. We didn't even have to count to 60, be silent, or even cover our heads. When we got outside, it was FREEZING! I forgot to bring my jacket too and I was in my PE strip, so I was cold! Luckily, when we got back in, we played handball, and I was all warmed up.
Nothing much happened in French, though the the teacher delayed the second part of the test to Monday. Yay!
After dinner, I headed over to my friend's house to have drawing lessons. She's not actually the teacher though, the actual teacher comes to her house to teach. I drew a eagle or hawk of some sort.
My mom made sticky rice dumplings. I actually have no idea what they're exactly called in English, but they sure are yummy! They have stuff inside, like chinese mushrooms, chinese sausages, meat, and green bean paste. Just thinking of it makes me want to eat it right now.

It's not finished yet, but I hope you like it!
