Hey dudsons,
Now onto the official blog! Today was a school day, which meant that I had to wake up early again. I hate Mondays; on the Sundays, I get adjusted to sleeping in, and then Monday comes in and breaks it up. I saw this picture on Facebook that said, "I'm in love with sleep, but my alarm clock keeps breaking us up." I can totally relate to that. Alarm clocks are cruel... :(
Apparently, there's a pumpkin pie eating contest at school. LOL! I would consider joining for fun if it was just girls, but it's probably not. Additionally, I hate pumpkin pie. Something about the cinnamon taste clashes with the pumpkin taste and it's just too sweet for my liking. If it was apple pie, then I'll be okay, because apple pie is just plainly delicious.
So today we got back our science fair proposals. Some people made it, some had to start over, but none of us got approved. I made it, but I have to elaborate on a lot more on my proposal. We also have to read a book, in science, but I think the project that we're doing with the book is too much of a English assignment. Science isn't my most favorable class..
My PE teacher was nice today. He didn't let us go outside to run, which is a good thing. We still ran inside though. Actually, we played basketball, so today's PE class was bad. I hate basketball. My arms are too weak to support such a heavy basketball. Plus, I'm not that tall, so the hoop is way beyond my reach. I consider tall people to play basketball easier, thus why there are only tall people in the NBA league. Whoever saw a short person play basketball in the big leagues... no one!
We also showed our postcards to the teacher for French today. I felt bad for one guy who didn't exactly do a good job on his postcard on got criticized by the teacher. That feeling isn't good, especially right in front of your peers. (embarrassing!)
For socials, we continued on our world maps. I like labeling and coloring maps; it reminds me of the good ole times in elementary school where we coloured maps and it was fun. The good ole days...
After school, I was supposed to volunteer at the community center for the junior youth council, but I had to practice piano for my piano class later today. I was supposed to sell doughnuts, and according to Amy we sold all of them! A six-dollar revenue! Plus, we got treated to a National Women's soccer game tomorrow night from five to ten. There's also free food and a free jersey! :) However, if I have too much homework, I'll stay home (sadly) because the game takes up five hours of my "precious" homework time. I hope I get to go, even though I'm not really interested in soccer.
Piano class was just practicing my test pieces. I signed up for a piano test for some day in January next year. I have to play five songs in total (including studies) and do technical stuff (clapbacks, playbacks, scales, etc.) Sometimes, piano is just a stressful thing.
Oh yeah, I was planning to do a 'why' blog soon, but I keep forgetting. Should I do one?
