Hey dudsons,
So yesterday I went to a restaurant called Grand Palace in Coquitlam with my grandparents, since they live near there. We had lots of yummy food, like lobster, beef, soup and other stuff.
Before that I went to Chinese school and it was the last day of term. I got two certificates, including one for the special ones you get if you're one of the top students, hehe.
For today, I basically went to swimming lessons and that was pretty much it....
Since I'm going to be doing a presentation on the Shinto religion, here are some quick facts:
1. The sun goddess Amaterasu is the most important 'kami;..... and was born out of her father's left eye. O_O
2. You will often find origami around a Shinto shrine.
3. Shinto has no founder or single sacred sculpture, unlike other religions.
4. The closest shrine from Vancouver is located in Granite Falls, Washington, USA.
5. There are 8 million kami. Kami is the Japanese word for God, deity, divinity, or spirit.
