Hey dudsons!

Happy leap day!

Tomorrow's the badminton tryouts and I'm really nervous.  You know why?  Because I'm not even experienced.  I just play for fun.  There are people that are trying out that play out of school, so I feel like I'm not gonna get in.  But whatever.  At least I tried.

Heehee update: this is still a busy week, school-wise.  I have a quiz tomorrow for science, a project that's due for math, some homework due for French, and possibly a Langara run tomorrow for PE.  I have to work on this science presentation and oh yeah, piano and Chinese school homework, ugh.

Hey dudsons,

* This is make up blog for yesterday *

I went to YMCA to play badminton with my friends.  We played for about 2 hours, maybe a little less. It was really fun, but one of my friends was so good that it was scary.

Later that night, I went back to the YMCA for a yoga class.  It was so funny at times, but I felt really relaxed afterwards.  We had to do stretches and dance and also recite mantras at times.  And at the end, the instructor told us to lie down on the mat and cover up with blankets, aka sleep for five minutes.  It was actually a very fun class, surprising, and I would definitely go again.

Hey dudsons,

So today I went to Chinese school again, nothing special.

I got into the district science fair with my partner Isanna!  The registration process online was so confusing though :/

Today I went shopping at the outlet mall and we bought a lot of things.  Afterwards, I went out to eat dinner with family friends.  The food was so good.

Joke of the day:

Hey dudsons,

Whew!  It turns out that we didn't do our science quiz today.  That's a relief, because I still didn't really understand about the topic that we were to study.  I mean, I understand part of it, but not all of it.  The quiz was supposed to be on Bohr models and Louis structures.

There's this app that's currently taking over my life.  What is it?  Sims Freeplay.  I remember playing it a few years ago, and now I know why I stopped.  It's too addicting!  I constantly miss my sims, as the app doesn't work with the school wifi.  And this morning I forgot to send them off to work, so I now I'm sad that I won't be able to earn more money.  I don't even know why I'm so addicted to this app.  I actually started playing it again after my friend started playing it.  She also seemed really addicted too because she is level 22 and she has a huge house and all that.  This game is kind of pointless now that I think of it, so I'm so dumb to invest my time into playing this game.  But I know that I will play it again after I go home! I just can't bear to not go on this app!I think I have an attachment issue with this app.

So yeah guys, download Sims Freeplay (it's free too, hence the name!), so you can be addicted too!  Let's start the Sims Freeplay revolution together!

Hey dudsons,

So this whole week is Multicultural Week at school so I went and got henna drawn on my hand.  It's really cool and pretty., but it's kind of fading away even though I just had it done today.

I love, love, love textiles!  Yeah, I just had to say that.  Too bad I chose interior design instead of clothing 11, because I wanted to try something new.  If I don't like interior design, I guess I'll just transfer out into clothing again.  Currently in textiles, we are making felt heart keychains and also friendship bracelets.

Ugh tomorrow I have a science quiz and a French test, so got to go!

Hey dudsons,

GUESS WHAT GUYS?

There wasn't enough time to finish up all the English presentations, so thus, there wasn't enough time to do my presentation.  Thank god, because I realized that my presentation would be too long compared to other people.

I've been thinking about not wanting to be an accountant, because I feel like it's too much stress for a job, as I have observed that my dad, who is an accountant, has a lot of stress from his job.  Maybe I should be a doctor instead, because I like to help people and I could care for my own parents when they are older.  Hahaha, doctors also earn a lot of money :)

Hey dudsons,

I'm freaking out over my English presentation!  Someone help me!  I don't think I'm prepared because I keep on stumbling over my words when I practice my presentation and I'm probably gonna fail, well not fail, but stumble over my words during the actual presentation and be embarrassed for life because that's the type of person I am.

Anyways.... yeah, I'm really nervous even though it's tomorrow, and I'm also nervous for my applied skills presentation that is probably tomorrow.

I'm so busy with homework, projects, and tests this week that I didn't even really celebrate my birthday which was earlier this week with my friends.  I usually do, like going to the mall or to the cinema to watch a movie.  It's funny because I see some of my friends posting a picture of all there homework spread out on a table and saying that it's too much to handle.  I know how they feel, it's a real sad feeling.

Hey dudsons,

Yesterday night, even though I had an English project due, my family and I went out to eat for Valentine's Day.  We went to this Shanghainese restaurant, but the wait was one hour long.  Crazy!  So we ended up to going to a Chinese restaurant that we never ate at before called Sea Fortune Restaurant.  The service was extremely good for a Chinese restaurant, and as you may know, Chinese restaurants are not particularly known for good service.  There were people asking us how the dinner was, which never happens at other restaurants I've been to, and they also gave us new plates even though there was nothing much on our plates.  Also, they were kind enough to give us some extra cookies at the end of the dinner.  This restaurant is really new, as they were only open for a week, and the inside was amazing.  They had this huge big screen TV that took up a huge chunk of the wall.  It's like the kind you see in restaurants in China.

Anyways, today I didn't know that for Applied Skills there were presentations.  I think I had missed Mr. Olson when he told us and nobody really talked about it on the group chat on Facebook so I was unaware.  I know it's my fault for not listening, so I really hope that I don't have too many marks taken off.

On the other hand, a happy thing that happened today was that for textiles, we are going to watch another fashion show.  This fashion show will be hosted by the fashion graduates from Kwantlen University.  I love watching these shows, because someday I may consider looking into working in the textiles and fashion industry, and these shows really give me inspiration and motivation.

Hey dudsons,

Happy Valentine's Day!  Shout out to all you single peeps, not that I want to be in a relationship, but I know that there are some of you out there that don't want to be single.  I'm too young and school is what's important for me at the moment.

So today I went out for dinner with my family and my aunt that I didn't see for a lot of years who is from New York.  The food was really good, but what's really bothering me is all the homework, tests, and projects awaiting for me to do them at home.  Ugh, bye.

Hey dudsons,

I just want to say that for French, we have delayed a French presentation and a test for two weeks now, and it is seriously so frustrating because I study and then I find out that there's no test!  It's the not the teacher's fault since she has to take care of her health issues, but she should at least allow the substitute teacher to give us the test so we don't waste so much time.  And also because we are falling behind as we are still waiting to do the chapter 17 test while the other grade nines have already completed their chapter 19 test.

I really like my friend Isanna's blog because she always complains and rants and I find it very interesting to read about what she is always so frustrated about.

I can't wait for the long weekend since it is almost Chinese New Year.  Not only do I look forward do I look forward to the red envelopes with money inside, but I can't wait to eat a big yummy dinner with my family and friends.  I love the feeling of eating and spending quality time together as a family because it is these memories that make life colorful and fun.

I'm really excited for textiles today because I bought 13 threads even though I don't know what to do with it.  Whatever.  The more thread the happier I'll be.  #textilesproblems
I'm actually not sure if I should do textiles for my elective next year because I also really want to do accounting because that may be a future career path for me. If I don't get into the Prelude program next year, then I'll be happy to take both.  But if I do get in, I'm gonna have a hard time choosing between the two.

I also have to do my Chinese homework, practice piano everyday, and make time to do things with my family since Chinese new year is coming up.  Well, got to go work now.

Hey dudsons,

Happy first day of February!  February is also Black History month, so happy first day of black history month!  It is important to acknowledge the hardships that many people of African origin had to endure.  One of the main things that happened is slavery.  Imagine treated like animals with minimal food, water, and sanitation.  That's what black people had to go through.  And yes, slavery has ended, but there is still discrimination towards these people.  Just because they have black skin, doesn't mean they are less superior to those with white skin.

Oh yeah, here's a song that I really like right now.  I think this song applies to many people, because when we are sad or something, we must remember that there is always someone who we can talk to.
