Hey dudsons,
Today was a more eventful day than yesterday. I didn't do much yesterday; the only highlight of my day was going out to this supermarket to buy groceries with my parents. I also walked with my mom to Oakridge which is about a 20 minute walk. The sun was shining so brightly; it was so hot.. -_-
Anyways, back to today. I actually thought that today was a day one instead of a day two. So I brought all my day one things. Luckily, Amie reminded me, and I rushed back to my locker to get my day two stuff. I left behind my sketchbook at home, but that;s okay because the teacher also allows us to draw/sketch on plain white paper.
Math surprised me in the morning with a test I forgot about. I got 100% anyways, so yeah, that's good. The test was really easy too; it was just on how to calculate area and perimeter on circles, squares, rectangles, parallelogram, trapezoids, and triangles. Easy stuff once you get the concept of it and you have to memorize the formulas.
Next was Applied skills and we watched this interesting movie called the Prestige. I didn't really get some of it, because it was kind of confusing, but the plot is quite interesting. I really hope that we continue watching the movie next class. Well actually next class we're going on a field trip to downtown, and that's way better than watching that movie. I'm really excited for the field trip, but I'll probably be worrying about the big chapter tests and the "essay" due the next day for science. Stress.
I was really hoping that we would continue to finish the Hercules movie for English. Sigh. We did not get to watch it, because we had to learn about poetry. I like learning about poetry, but the tricky part is that sometimes the teacher makes you decipher the true meaning behind the words of the poetry. Yep, that's the tricky part. Real tricky stuff right there.

Hey dudsons,
Today I am using my new iMac to write this blog. I like this one better than my laptop, since the screen is larger, and the computer is faster.
Anyways, I did nothing today. "Nothing" includes doing a little bit of homework, playing the piano, watching TV, as well as playing on the phone and on the computer. I didn't go swimming today because my brother was feeling lazy and didn't want to go, which was fine by me, but I sort of wished that we still went. It's better than doing "nothing".
Tomorrow's a Pro-D day, which means that once again I am not going to school tomorrow. I'm not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow. I think I am going to do "nothing" again tomorrow as well. Sigh. On Thursday, I will be going to another field trip in the downtown and gas town area. I am really excited for this trip, because even though we will be guarding people's bags, I think it's going to be fun to be travelling to different places throughout the day and watching people dance.

Hey dudsons,
When I feel stress, I say "Stresssssss" to relieve my stress. There's another classmate who always does that, so I do it sometimes too. It actually makes me feel better for some reason.
Yesterday was Earth Day...and I totally forgot! My friend Amie put up this link to a quiz that tells you what animal you are and apparently I got the Komodo Dragon. Hmp, out of all all cute and furry animals, I got a scaly, frightening animal. Anyways, if you want to give it a try, I'll put down the link right after I finish this sentence. www.google.ca/earth+day+quiz=earth-day.
I'd like to say that I am a pretty weird person. I am allergic to a lot of things. Well I won't die from these allergies; it's a mild allergy that is still bothersome. In fact, I wouldn't even use the word "mild" to describe it. Perhaps "moderate", because my allergies are not too serious, yet it can make me feel really bad. I am allergic to any kind of nuts except for peanuts and some almonds, pears, some peaches, some plums, apples, cherries, and who knows what else. The strange thing is that I used to be not allergic to some of these things, but over the years, if I eat the fruits listed above, my throat gets super itchy and irritated, and my lips might puff up. I read online that it may be because of some new preservatives and chemicals they put in the fruit. I wonder if organic fruits will be better for me.

Hey dudsons,
Today was the Sun Run! It was my first time and it was quite an experience. It was quite a nice day out with the sun shining and blue skies. However, my mom made me wear double layers and long pants, so I was sweating a lot. There were a lot of waster stations and a food station along the way of the run. Basically, the Sun Run is really tiring and I do not want to do it again next year even though I have to do it in order to get an extra 3% and skip the six-lap run. At least they gave out food and drink at the end. Something really cool is that the first runner finished at around 29 minutes and that's insanely fast. It was his first Sunrun and he isn't even from Canada, but from the States. Cool...
After the Sun Run, we went to Richmond to go to a new restaurant called Kongee Dinesty. They serve congee in the day time and regular chinese dishes in the night time. I find it cool how they write congee with a 'k' instead of a 'c'. Just seems different. The food is really good, and it haas really good service for a Chinese restaurant. This might sound stupid, but I like their tea. It tastes like it has a hint of lemon and a hint of flowers.
Afterwards we went to Costco....but we didn't buy anything much there.
Here I am at home, and I pretty tired from the Sunrun and having to wake up really early today, but I cannot sleep as I have some homework.
Update on the crow assignment: I saw only one crow and he/she always sits on my neighbor's fence. That was the last I saw of him/her. I decided to name he/her "Fence". If only he/she came back one more time so I can study him/her.

Hey dudsons,
Today started off with Chinese school, and I got back my big term exam...I got 98%, which is a pretty good mark.
I went to eat dinner with my grandparents today in Coquitlam at this new restaurant called "M" Cafe. The food is pretty decent, and I ordered a Japanese-style beef rice and Ovatine. My brother had this really good meal that consists of rib-eye steak, chicken cutlet, and pork cutlet, with some gravy and sauteed veggies. He also got some pumpkin cream soup and a hot lemon coke. In case you don't know, it actually tastes okay. It's basically hot coke with a lemon flavor to it. It's an Asian thing though and I think they don't do it in western-styled restaurants. They should though!
Tomorrow's the Sunrun, and I have to wake up early! ~bye

Hey dudsons,
Today is block rotation, but luckily, I remembered and did not go to the wrong classroom.
Socials in the morning, how do I feel about it? Well, I still prefer PE, though I suck at it. I got my socials test back and luckily I still have an A, 90%. We had a pop quiz though which I got 9/12 on...that sucks.
I watched the teacher against students basketball game during lunch and my PE teacher was pretty good. He did a three-pointer from a far distance and yet got it in. I heard some boys gossiping in the seats behind me that my teacher played in a European basketball team. Sounds fancy, but something about gossip: there is a huge possibility that the real truth was twisted and distorted into the now-fake finished "product".
I don't enjoy PE after lunch, especially after eating a full lunch. I got some cramps after running warm-up laps around the track. Anyways, today we learned how to shot put, and I couldn't really throw far because I don't know, my arms are too weak? We also did long jump, which is better than shot put.

Hey dudsons,
Today was a collab day, which means that once again, school starts at 10:15! ~Sigh~ I thought that it was supposed to be on the 16th, so I actually came pretty early, at around 8:20...I knew it was peculiar when there were no parents driving their kids to school, or any kids walking to school for that matter. The hallways were eerily silent, and it was actually pretty creepy. I only realized that it was a collab day when I was sitting with my cousin and we both decided that it was quite strange and then I checked my agenda. That was also the moment I noticed that all the teachers were in the cafeteria holding some sort of staff meeting. Why was I so dumb?! I could have been sleeping in, or better yet, catching up on some HK drama!
I waited for about 2 hours with my cousin, but we had a lot to talk about, so luckily I was not that bored. Well, I was bored, obviously, but it was better than sitting by myself having absolutely nothing to do.
Art was my first class, and we're drawing different features of the face. I find it quite difficult, since we have to base the drawing off of another person's face. Anyways, this was only like a thirty minute class, so we didn't do much.
We finally decided on what to do for Buskerfest! My friends and I are going to let people do chubby bunny contests, as well as sell some candy. We have to spend a lot for materials though, and I'm not sure if we are able to earn that money back.

Hey dudsons,
I think my friendship with one of my friends is deteriorating. In elementary school, we used to hang out with each other all the time, but now I guess since we have only one class with each other, things are not as tight as before. And even then, we don't even sit close together. Our conversations are forced and unnatural, since we don't have much in commons anymore. When I used to sit with them for lunch, the conversation doesn't include me. It's not that I'm not engaging with them, but they're talking about things that I don't really know about. And I think one of their new friends doesn't really like me, since I think she thinks that I'm stealing her friends. I even asked for a friend request on Facebook, but she didn't accept it, when most people accept friend requests that they don't know. I wish things could go back to before.

Hey dudsons,
Something really sweet happened today at school. This boy asked a girl to prom. I always see those two together in the hallways. Anyways, he was holding some flowers and had music playing. He even had this little table with food on it for the girl. The boy gave a little speech to the crowd (there was a lot of people crowding around) and finally asked her to prom. Of course, she said yes and the crowd cheered.
Anyways, back to my life. I have a horrible headache. It was a little chilly today and I didn't wear enough clothes. I know, I know being cold doesn't make you sick. My mom insists that coldness has to do with my issue. I have a big Chinese test tomorrow, which I am trying to study for, but my dumb headache is bothering me so much. I think I must go and get rest now.....right after I finish up this blog.

Today I woke up very early to get to school to practice a song for science. It was all about the human circulatory system, and we use the song "Stereo Hearts" by Gym Class Heroes ft. Adam Levine as our base melody. Anyways, when we performed it was pretty fun, as well as getting to watch other groups' performances. I especially liked the group who rapped, because it was funny and entertaining.
Six people missed the socials test because of science fair and the spring dance. Lucky! Extra study time!

Hey dudsons,
Tomorrow we have a socials test, so I am really trying to study now. Well, not now, but surely you must get the point. I can't seem to get the information in my head, so I might flunk the test tomorrow. I guess that I must keep trying.
Anyways, today started off with art and we had to draw hands. I wouldn't say my drawings were bad, yet I wouldn't say they were great. Somewhere in between perhaps.
Next was English. We learned more about Greek Mythology, though I still don't understand why this is considered English. It seems more like social studies to me. However, I do enjoy learning about subject, since it is interesting. I'm still nervous about the presentation, and I just learned that today we had to make the outfit by ourselves! I already bought a white dress, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to return it or not.
After English was math, which was really fun since for half of the class, we played a game called Brain Drain. It's sort of skill testing, but it's fun that way. Our team was last place, but I don't mind because we all (or at least me) had fun.
Last was Applied Skills. My friends and I sort of wanted to do a lot of things for Buskerfest. First we wanted to apply nail polish on other people, and then we wanted to sell beauty products, and then we wanted to sell cookies. We also wanted to let people put makeup on us blind-folded, and then we wanted to do chubby bunny contests. We had some other ideas too, so right now, we're not really sure what will be doing.
I think my parents are crazy because today they went out and bought 7 pillows for more than a hundred dollars each. (Some were gifts to my relatives) Yes, they were comfortable, but it was unnecessary.

Hey dudsons,
Happy Easter Sunday! I didn't really celebrate it though, but it would be fair to say that I had a good day today. I started off the day with swimming lessons, which wasn't really fun. We had a new teacher today, and she didn't teach the students much. She even left another student and I alone in the shallow end for ten minutes doing nothing. (Don't worry, I wasn't being punished; she just forgot about us.) Anyways, I think she made it up to us when she let us play fifteen minutes worth of water polo. Then again, it was good for her too since she just stood there, watching us play.
My family and I went to eat Vietnamese food after that, and it's one of my favorite types of food. After that, we went grocery shopping at T&T and the 2000 supermarket.
We went to Michaels too, since I needed to pick up some (fake) peacock feathers for my Hera costume for English. Unfortunately, the store was closed. Sad, considering I don't know when I'll be able to go again and the peacock feathers are quite important in part of my costume.
One more day before going back to school. I must cherish tomorrow and finish up all my homework for school. There's quite a lot due actually on Tuesday, as I have a science foldable due, reading and answering questions for socials, as well as some homework for French. Not to mention I have to study for a French test too. Speaking of which, I will try to finish up my french homework right now.
~Bye!

Hey dudsons!
Yesterday we had a Code Yellow at school, which means that there is someone or something that's potentially dangerous near the school. It turned out that it indeed did have something with an April's Fool's prank. Apparently, I'm not so sure about the details, that some students from my school and some from other schools were holding fake guns and paintball guns. This obviously looked like real guns from other people's perspectives, such as the people who lived in that neighborhood. So they phoned the police and there was this car chase that happened near my school. And that was when they discovered it was fake guns. Anyways, this prank completely failed, shame on them. On the bright side, I missed a French test and I spent like half an hour doing nothing.
I learned today that for English we have to do yet another presentation. Can we not? And this time we have to dress up as an Ancient Greek goddess, god, demi-god, hero, or monster. *Sigh* Why? I should make a mask so I can hide my face while I do the presentation, but I can't. I chose to do Hera, and she doesn't wear a mask. I don't even have a white dress or peacock feather or Greek-styled stuff. *Sigh again*
Anyways, tomorrow's Good Friday and the beginning of the 4-day holiday! Yay!

Hey dudsons,
Happy April Fools Day! I expect April Fool's Day to be wild and pranks galore in high school, like in books and movies, but it was actually pretty calm. I don't know if this counts as a prank, but my friend Amie locked my lock backwards, so it was troublesome to unlock it.
Anyways, I'm still going back to my China trip. I used to love dogs and I wanted one so badly. After going to China, ehhh, not so much. So my aunt already has a big dog which I believe is a crossbreed, but I'm too sure. BUT she got another small dog from her friend and it was pure terror. In the beginning I loved it because it was so cute and everything. However, once it got used to everyone it unleashed its true self. The big dog has a rug that she uses as a bed and I think the small dog doesn't like her much, so the small dog pooped and peed everywhere on the rug. Poor big dog. She had no place to rest and sleep so my aunt gave her a towel instead while the rug was still being washed. Also that's not all, the small dog pooped and possibly peed on the sofa, scratched the sofa, and tried to bite everyone. So me, my brother, and my dad started scaring the dog back to her bed by screaming and it was really funny. Anyways, after two days, my aunt sent her back to her original owner. This experience was something similar to a dream I previously had, about a dog and how it was being so vicious and stuff. Anyways, I'm having second thoughts about getting a dog now.

He may look innocent, but don't trust the pictures. Ugh, that dog is so viscous and annoying!
